Lemon + Pink Party
For the love of vintage, pink, yellow, the garden and of course, the birthday girl, this tea party for Ari’s 3rd birthday is caaaaa-ute!
With Ari’s birthday in the middle of summer and her love of the garden, a tea party picnic with lemon tones, shades of pinks and splashes of white was the perfect way to celebrate her milestone.
Something that anyone can set up DIY at their own house or at a park, her party featured a bunch of our vintage picnic blankets in muted tones, our up-turned wooden crates forming a long table dressed in one of our vintage table cloths, plenty of vintage servingware and cake stands, and a tiny china tea set just for the kids. Fresh flowers by Libertine Florist in our cut glass vases brought the colour palette to life and paper garlands, cake toppers and balloons from Ruby Rabbit completed the scene.
The adults helped themselves to a gorgeous grazing board, drinks station full of crystal glassware, and feasted on homemade salads served in our cut glass bowls and BBQ butterflied lamb & chicken with our retro bone handled cutlery.
The cake table was simple and pretty in shades of lemon and pink. The hero of the table was the two-tier birthday cake lovingly made by Ari’s grandma teamed with a classic cookie jar, cupcakes, freckles and a large arrangement.
