Kristy’s 50th at the farmhouse
Turning 50 looks pretty darn good
Kristy knew exactly how she wanted to celebrate her 50th birthday. Treating her favourite people with a mouthwatering dinner and a bottomless gin bar at home.
And no wonder she wanted it at home. The farmhouse renovation had just been completed and it was time to open the big red barn door and party.
Located in the quiet town of Yarragon, just over an hour’s drive from our Studio, Kristy brought her 50th birthday party to life with the help of excellent West Gippsland businesses including Light & Type Photography behind the camera, Hogget Kitchen on the catering and Pollen & Patina on the florals and styling.
Otto & Chaise supplied the trestle tables and chairs (shout out to the positioning to create a big giant square table, #love) and we were there too with our vintage drinkware and candlestick holders for a special touch.
We always say you can’t beat a party at home. Yes it’s a bit more effort with the set up and party aftermath, but boy, it’s worth it.
It’s a sure fire way to create a meaningful connection to where you live – especially a new home.
Plus you have the added bonus of being only a few metres away from your bed once you’ve had your fill of the gin bar!
